Matt Beickert, President
After many successful years in film and video production, Matt Beickert decided to return to the residential construction industry, where his family has been involved since the 1920s. An energetic, innovative and service-minded business owner, Matt is driven to provide quality inspections and peace of mind for home buyers, sellers and their agents. Outside of work, Matt remains a film buff, is active with a number of non-profits, and enjoys few things more than winning a long rally on the tennis court. He has completed more than 200 hours of training and is a licensed home inspector in the state of Tennessee.
There’s not much on an inspection site that rattles David Jolley and no one is more serious about ensuring safety in the home. That comes from having spent 30 years as an Air Traffic Controller, where addressing problems and protecting lives is the norm – all day, every day. As Sr. Inspector, David has logged more than 800 home inspections making him familiar with older homes and new construction throughout the MidSouth. Outside of work, David is an active member of Renewal Church, enjoys spoiling his 6 grandchildren, and is an avid fan of SEC football. He is licensed in Tennessee and is a Certified Pool Inspector.
No one knows every nook and cranny of a house better than its pest control guy. Larry Pruitt was not only a pest control guy with Terminix, but during his thirty years with the company, he rose from that role to president before retiring. He then began his part-time career as a Certified Inspector. It keeps him busy and allows him to work with his son. Larry has a special needs son named Patrick, who helps him on inspections and loves working with his Dad. We’re still not sure who our clients love more.
Larry brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to our team. He is as comfortable in a board room as he is in a basement, so you can be sure his findings will not only be thorough, but will be presented in a calm and professional manner.
Toughness and precision are hallmarks of a great home inspector, and Randy McGill is just about as tough and exacting as they come. Prior to joining AmeriSpec, Randy did security work in Memphis for 10 years. This experience led him to jiu jitsu – a martial arts discipline for which he has continued to train for more than 7 years. Randy also has a history as an agent and investor, buying and selling homes in the MidSouth – during which time, he learned the real estate industry inside and out. Randy has now lived in Memphis for over 13 years and knows this area, its homes, and its food scene, better than many natives. He is licensed in Tennessee.
If you are new to the Pickwick/Hardin County area, you may not know Steve Haffly, but anyone who grew up here probably knows Steve as a former middle school principal and award-winning band director/music teacher. Steve likes to keep busy in his “semi” retirement and home inspections are just the thing to allow Steve to continue helping and teaching in his community. Since he has already spent much of his retirement doing many “handy-man” jobs on homes in the area, inspecting them is now the easy part. A man of many talents, he also happens to be a U.S. Coast Guard licensed boat captain. Steve is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi as a Home Inspector and Certified by the AmeriSpec Academy.

Robert "Bo" Hardy
Robert Hardy is known to his friends as “Bo”, and “Bo knows home inspections!”
Bo is also known as a veteran. He is a veteran of this industry, his community, and our country. He bravely served as an Army Ranger, Special Forces and completed tours in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Bosnia. During this time, he earned a purple heart and retired from the Army after being wounded. As if that wasn’t dangerous enough Bo returned to Memphis and became a Memphis Police Officer where he earned two more purple hearts. He spent twenty years serving and protecting our community as a police officer until his retirement in 2012. While serving MPD on the tactical squad and as hostage negotiator he renovated houses, which led to the opening of a successful home inspection company. In 2005, he earned a Mechanical Engineering Degree with an emphasis in occupational safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Bo’s work ethic, admirable career history, and commitment to customer satisfaction make him an excellent inspector and a trusted ally in your quest for a great home.
